	About Claudia Johnson Strategic Communications

	For more that 20 years we have been in the business of leading strategic communications, public relations, and marketing programs. Our business is perhaps most noted for launch strategies and communications tactics on behalf of start-up enterprises of all kinds – from tech products to political campaigns. We have launched companies and organizations like Cricket Wireless, SKOOT™, Shaping America’s Youth, HemCon Medical Technologies, Encounter Collaborative, FirstPoint Communications, Cellular One (now AT&T Wireless), Voice Stream Wireless, Big Planet Internet Services, the SEIKO Message Watch among others. We have both managed statewide communications and volunteered on a number of successful bond measure and political campaigns. Of special note, while at KATU-TV, my production team broke the Rajneesh story locally and produced numerous primetime segments on the cult at the Big Muddy Ranch. I was the first public relations and marketing staff hired to launch cellular phones in the Pacific Northwest in 1984. I also introduced and launched the 1988 world premier exhibition, Son of Heaven: Imperial Arts of China, where as a global communications tactic we led a large group of reporters and arts critics through the tombs of China’s emperors.
