I love music! All kinds. OK, Rock & Roll rules, but my iPod is full of almost 20,000 songs covering all genres: Jazz, R&B, Funk, Latin, French, Classical, Country, Reggae, Bossa Nova – you name it. Ever since I got my first AM/FM radio when I was 10 years old, I’ve had music going non-stop – in my bedroom, bathroom, office, kitchen, living room, outdoor patio — my house, my life are are wired for sound!
Years ago, I bought the very first Phillips CD recorder and created a casual studio corner in my family room where I’ve mixed 100s of different music sets and themed CDs. I’ve been called upon to DJ friends’ events and create the musical ambience for parties ranging from nostalgic 70s to a tribute to Michael Jackson to themed sets for parties like A Night in Havana, April in Paris, South o’ the Border and more. I’ve even been a guest DJ in Portland where I was able to mix my own set and host a CJtheDJ show.
This page will be soon be dedicated to my new music finds as well as strolls back through classic vinyl memories. So stay tuned! In the meantime, for music suggestions, trivia and fun, follow me at www.twitter.com/CJtheDJ and Claudia Johnson on facebook .
Let the music play,
